Life Skills Development
It takes more than just job skills and education to make a successful
and permanent move beyond homelessness. Skills like time management, problem
solving, teamwork, effective communications, organization, and conflict
resolution are also necessary to achieve success in the job market. Goal
setting, budgeting, smart shopping, bill paying, balancing a checkbook
are also vital to succeed independently. The Life Skills Development Program
teaches these skills to the men and women participating in all of our
transitional programs.
If you would like to teach a valuable life skill to some of our program
participants, please contact Mariann Bucina at (617) 534-2526, ext. 383.
